Threading is believed to have originated 6,000 years ago in the Middle East! It was an effective way for women to remove unwanted hair and is still performed to this day. Threading involves a cotton string that’s twisted into two strands and when applied to the skin pulls out unwanted hair from the root. It‘s the most gentle form of hair removal for facial hair.
